Is A Ghost Following Me? Need Help

This is the first time I have ever written or talked about these incidences, but I was scared enough today that I realized I need some other people's opinions.

I went to college in Philadelphia and lived in a very old home with a number of other people. We knew the history of the house, and a number of my friends had experiences with the paranormal. The most I had was hearing odd sounds when in the home alone and the feeling of being watched.

After I graduated I moved to another city close by, Wilmington Delaware, to an old home. At first it seemed fine, but after 2 years things started to happen in the kitchen, where utensils and food would be thrown from the counter top when we left the room.

I also had a dog whose toys would be placed oddly in the home without him being there. Then a friend moved in and things started to happen to him. Lights would turn off after he left the room, the washer and dryer would turn on when he went into the basement. Just odd things.

I also had other things happen to me at this time. My dog would start barking at nothing, doors would close (I would chalk it up to the wind etc...). My other roommate saw a shadow and some odd reflection in the mirror and then my dog would bark at my room and suddenly the door would shut when I wasn't there. We jokingly named the 'ghost' Charlie.

I then moved home to my parents. I started having very vivid dreams of my grandfather who passed away a few years back. He was telling me about things to come and that he wanted me to tell certain family members things that he regretted etc... Most of the stuff I had no clue happened but apparently a few of my aunts and uncles said what he told me was valid.

Soon after that I moved to Philadelphia Pennsylvania with a few friends (one who briefly lived with me in DE). This is when things got weird. It's only been a few weeks but stuff has begun to happen. The house feels ok, except for the third floor (where I live). There is a bathroom on this floor which is where stuff began to happen.

The first event occurred 1.5 weeks after moving in. One of our roommates noticed that on a random night at around 3:00 AM the bathtub was turned on, he thought someone was in there so he ignored it. The next morning when he was leaving for work at about 7:00 AM he went into the bathroom and the water was still turned on. To date no one has claimed responsibility for this.

A few days later I was out with another roommate and the house was empty, when I got back everything in the bathroom was thrown into the sink or into the bathtub, if it was on the side of the bathtub then it was now inside of it and the same with the sink. We had the windows open that night, and although it wasn't windy rather quite a stagnant night, I assumed that was the cause.

The next odd event happened when my brother was over for a party, less than a week later. Since the house is on a very slight angle, every time the bathroom door is left open it will slowly shut. However when my brother went in to use the bathroom the door opened if not completely shut. That same night I used the bathroom but it would slowly shut when I went in.

However the most disturbing thing happened today. I stayed home from work and took care of some chores. I thought it would be a good idea to get settled into the bathroom so I started to clean it. I was almost done when I began to empty a drink into the sink. I placed the glass back onto the counter and just stood there for a minute thinking of what to do next.

Suddenly, for no apparent reason, one of the light bulbs in the track lighting above me suddenly just shattered all over me, cutting my hand. I had no lights on being that it was the middle of the day and the bathroom has a skylight, I didn't shake or make any hard vibrations rather I was just standing there, and there were no loud cars or buses coming down the street.

Honestly I have no clue what's going on but this is getting creepy. My mom has a history of 'seeing things before they happen' but not me. I just want to know what's going on. Do I have a poltergeist? Am I making this happen? And most worrisome, is a ghost following me?! What should I do?

FYI... I am a male in my mid 20's I've read this stuff mostly happens to females.

I'm Being Followed by a Ghost

I was in the 3rd grade when this happened to me and I will never forget it! I was in class and needed to use the rest room so I ask for permission from my teacher and went downstairs to the bathroom. When I walked in as I was passing the stalls I caught out of the corner of my eye a black shape about the same size as myself. I was terrified! I stopped and went to look back and there was nothing there. I left immediately.

A week or so later I went with my class to wash our hands for lunch. I had to go to the bathroom so I went into the first stall while everyone else went on to lunch. I could see on the floor in the stall next to me a pair of tennis shoes and jeans, I thought it was my buddy so I reached out with my foot to kick at his foot, just messing around, I kept reaching but could never get to the foot, I looked back under once more to find nothing there and I had been in the bathroom by myself the whole time.

Soon after having these experiences I started seeing more and more. But not just at school at home too. I live with my mom and little brother. We had been in the house for a few months and I started hearing whisperings and seeing both black and white images floating in and out of the bedrooms, but always disappearing at the doorways.

Then one night I was laying in bed trying to go to sleep when all of a sudden I felt like something was laying on me and I couldn't breathe. My mom came in and tried to help me, she prayed with me and gave me the bible to keep under my pillow. Whatever it was left me alone for the night but seeing the shadows continued.

A couple of months ago my mom had to have surgery on her neck so we had to move in with my aunt and uncle. I swear this thing or things moved right along with me! I'm still seeing the shadowy figures and hearing things.

Is it possible for something to follow you? Because that's what I feel like is happening. I'd really like to tell it to leave me the heck alone but for some reason I don't think that that is going to help. Any suggestions?

Guardian Angel Or Ghost?

I am writing about all my experiences, past and present so you can weight them up yourself. I have had lots of experiences with ghost or supernatural. So please bear with me.

My first experience was when I was watching a film in my room. I heard someone going through drawers in my parent's room, so I shouted out "mum" I got no reply, so I tried "dad" and whoever it was responded. I said "What are you looking for?" "Nothing, don't worry" and the conversation carried on like this for a while. Then it went quiet after two minutes. I figured my dad had gone to sleep. When I went downstairs my dad was down there, so I asked "What were you looking for upstairs?" "What do you mean; I haven't been upstairs in hours." "You were just upstairs going through drawers, you told me?" Both him and my mum claim neither of them had been up there.

When I went back upstairs, everything seemed calm.

One night before bedtime, I ran into my mum's room to hide, I was playing a game so I hid under the quilt. I moved the quilt back and out of nowhere a black shadow of a man was leaning over me. I hid again as quickly as I could. Although I have not seen him since, I have felt him.

I always feel someone around me. I get goose bumps and all that. It just fees like someone's watching me, and I get a horrible feeling in the air. I had a boyfriend over once, and he could feel it too.

Sometimes I ask them to leave, and the horrible feeling goes, and everything seems fine again. This has been going on for about 10 years, but this morning REALLY freaked me out.

I woke up at 8a. M but then dozed off again for another half an hour. I woke up and went downstairs as we were expecting a delivery, so I figured it would be best to wait downstairs. I took my laptop, quilt, and a pillow. I put the laptop on the side, and made myself comfy. As soon as I was relaxed I started hearing two men talking. I couldn't make out what they were saying and I was still tired, so I just thought "Hmm... That's weird" and slowly I fell asleep. I'm not sure if those men sounded threatening but things like this scare me. I thought they were waiting for something.

A while later I woke up, because I felt two hands on either side of my face. All I could see was white light. I couldn't see anything else. My eyes weren't open, but it was the brightest white light I've ever seen. There was also a lot of pain. It was a searing pain that lasted about 10 seconds I couldn't get whoever it was off me. I kept trying to grip his hands, but I just couldn't. Then the hands let go. The voices had stopped for a bit, and I was WIDE AWAKE now but still could not open my eyes, I was just stuck. I suddenly felt zapped of all energy and very weak. Then the voices started again.

As hard as I tried, I couldn't move properly or look in the direction the voices were coming from and my eyes wouldn't open. I was so determined to find out who would cause me so much pain, yet I couldn't feel them. After a while, I'm guessing I had an adrenalin rush, and it faded. My body was tense yet exhausted, now it just flopped, and I fell asleep again. I woke up a little while later, and heard the voices again, but was still unable to open my eyes. Then I fell asleep again only this time when I woke up I was fine and the voices had stopped. But I kept thinking I could see someone pacing near the entrance of the bathroom yet I could not see anyone.

I felt weird, I could not breathe properly, my chest felts tight and I kept feeling dizzy. I don't know if it was my guardian angel or someone out to get me. I'm not sure whether it could've been the guy from my parent's room. They say white light usually means death, right? At least that's what I've heard. Maybe they knew something would happen, and were waiting and the pain was them trying to keep me FROM the light. Maybe it was something more sinister, and they were TRYING to hurt me, but they were distracted or my struggling stopped them!

Please someone help me, because I'm really scared I might have a curse or something on me, or someone sinister is following me.

Ghost That Follows Me Around?

However, upon investigating literally moments later there was no one upstairs. A little spooked, I went downstairs and spoke to my Mum about it. It was then she told me that there were a few incidences since I'd left home. She would often see a figure leaning over our stair banister watching her whilst she worked in the kitchen. She also mentioned that a little baby girl had died in my bedroom when the house was built years ago in 1923, and she would hear the baby's pram. All these incidences at my parents only happened when I visited.

After I had moved out to several places here and there, I went to live in a place called Luton when I was 24 as a tenant in a small two bedroom house. My bedroom there was incredibly small but it reminded me of home. One night, I was all alone in the house and asleep in my bed (I'm a very light sleeper and I wake up from the slightest noises sometimes) and I heard my bedroom door open and then I felt some sort of pressure next to me, like something was sitting beside me near the top of my bed.

I woke up and noticed my bedroom door was wide open and the lights were on in the landing. I also heard running water coming from the bathroom. I didn't think much of it as I thought it was my house mate so I got up and looked into the bathroom, both sinks taps were running. I turned them off and noticed that there were lights on downstairs so I wandered down there, had a look around but no one was there. I turned off all the lights and checked my house mate's bedroom but he wasn't there.

I was quite freaked out by now but nothing prepared me for what happened the following night. I heard some sort of growling noise in the middle of the night which woke me up and remember it being very cold. I couldn't open my eyes and it felt as if I was pinned to my bed. I had to fight to move my arms or legs and eventually I managed to move my after a massive jolt of my body. This scared me so much to the point I packed my things up and left as soon as I could.

I had no incidences since that day until I visited my parents for the summer holidays this year, 2 years later. The other day, I found myself very restless and unable to sleep. At one point I must have drifted off and I was lying on my side. Once again I heard the growl but this time felt something creeping on the other side of my pillow. I was unable to move again but I told myself that I had to move and roll over no matter how scared I was, which eventually I did. I didn't want to go back to sleep afterwards. I've not had any further experiences since I've been here.

To me, this sounds like a very sinister ghost and I'm not sure why it seems to attach itself to me. It doesn't sound very friendly at all and I'm just scared to go to sleep sometimes. During the times when I've been asleep, I'm not sure whether I am actually completely awake and whether this is part of a dream but it feels very real.

I've had dreams where you think they're real before but nothing like this. If they are dreams then I don't want to have them anymore and if they're not then I'd rather not experience this again. I hope someone can help or give some advice on what's going on. I've told this to a few people before but no one really believes me. Thanks for your time.

Ghost Or Sixth Sense?

It was strange, but I only passed it off as my own fault. But now that I think about it, even when asleep there is no way I'd be able to do that.

I was sitting in the basement, just hanging out surfing the web on my laptop. I had music playing, but even though I was listening to music it sounded really strange that I heard singing without my headphones on. I heard different types of voices, nearly trailing me around for a little while. I got up to get some water, and I heard a young woman's voice, saying something like, "Come one, you gotta get ready to go now." I even heard my name being said, but it didn't sound anything like my mom, or anyone else I know. I brushed it off as only being my imagination, but I couldn't shake the feeling that someone was following me.

Visiting a cemetery is basically my worst thing to do in the world. I can't go near the tombstones or the grass. Stepping near anything beyond the concrete pathway sends shivers up my spine, and causes my stomach to feel frozen over. I become choked up, and I start to loose my vision. It's strange and I have tried to get over it, but the more I try the more I nearly pass out. Thinking of the ones that are in the cemetery grounds, makes me want to crawl into a corner and cry for hours. It's not much of a ghostly experience, but it's still very strange.

This one was the craziest experience ever. I was sitting at my desk, in school. All of a sudden, out of the corner of my eye, I saw this black figure go running down the hallway. There was nothing, but locked doors at the end, but whatever it was had disappeared. I looked over and saw the kid beside was looking in the same direction, a strange shocked look on his face. I asked him if he had seen something, and he said yeah. I didn't say anything about it and only asked what he had seen. What he described was exactly the same as what I had seen. I felt a little uneasy the rest of the day after that. The fact that he had seen it as well, made me believe it had really been there, and that it wasn't just my imagination."

I thought an entity might be residing in her home but once she told me about her experiences in cemeteries, school and what happened earlier today with that young girl, I am starting to believe that she is more in tune with these things than others, that she has a sixth sense if you want to call it that.

We really need advice in figuring out what is going on and we would really appreciate any comments you leave for us and if you could give us a bit of advice about what is going on and what we could do about this.

Thanks for taking the time to read this story and if you comment, thanks again!

Ghost Copying People and Other Things

I haven't been around as of much lately, mainly because I've been busy with school and work and I've been lurking on paranormal forums around the web. I've decided to come here again because I like the general atmosphere and how people here can actually have a serious discussion about the paranormal.

In my last story I wrote about an experience I had at my boyfriends parents house, since then we have moved twice, we rented an apartment for about 2-3 months and now we've bought a home. I've had experiences in both places that I'm going to write here because of the stuff that happened in the apartment are too short to put in a different story.

We moved there in October last year. We were living on the top floor in the middle, the smaller apartment. With the apartment you get a decent sized storage place in the basement, which just looks normal, nothing creepy, painted white, the floors were carpets, but I couldn't go down there. The reason for this is because I'm rather sensitive about spirits and I've always felt a dark angry spirit there. I just hated going down there I'm not sure what it was, so I just let my boyfriend go down there.

The ghost in our apartment seemed to be rather friendly, he didn't do much except move the toilet paper and hide things, he never really scared me. He copied things we said, which only happened on two occasions that I remember.

First incident was when me and my boyfriend were going to go to bed, and all over a sudden the porch door bursts open, now this is in winter in Iceland so it was windy and rainy, so my boyfriend runs and closes the door (Nothing paranormal with the door, the handle was broken, we had to tie the unbroken part to the oven so it would stay closed, we forgot to do tie it that night) Now he's struggling the door and I'm laying in bed when I hear something standing in the doorway talking exactly like my boyfriend and saying "omg" over and over, my boyfriend has a habit of doing that so I just thought it was him, the figure walks over and sits on the bed, I just thought it was my boyfriend until not 2 minutes later my boyfriend comes in and goes to bed.

During Christmas break we had our friends over every night until the wee-hours, we'd play guitar-hero, board games, Dungeons and Dragons and did whatever we felt like.

On one night we were all playing D and D, our friend who was the dungeon master (He plays all the characters we encountered) would change his voice for each character he was acting, one in particular was a character named Kurt. We played all night and when they left me and my boyfriend just went to bed, not feeling very tired.

After a while I hear "Kurt" talking, it startled me but it was over quick, I remembered then reading about ghosts that sometimes copy what you do and shrugged it off as just that.

In January we moved into the house we are in now. It sends a welcoming vibe, it's old compared to other houses here and I feel in love with it as soon as I saw it.

Before we moved in we wanted to do some painting, my boyfriend works as a fisherman so he wasn't there at the time, I was painting and listening to music when I heard little kids running on the stairs. I knew for a fact that there weren't any kids in the house. I just smiled and kept painting.

A few nights after that I invited some friends over to help me paint the living room. I had to go pick one of them up, when we were driving back I saw this eagle fly past my windscreen, probably bigger than me, nonetheless I slammed the brakes, then realized that they aren't any eagles here. I'm not sure whether this is related but it scared me.

We arrived the house and start painting, we were getting into it and I felt something touch my hair. I looked around that there was nothing that I could've caught my hair like that, I accused everyone for touching my hair, and they just thought I was crazy.

So after we moved in and have been living happily, everyone says that this house has a good vibe. But there is some strange activity going on.

Firstly when we are upstairs in bed we keep hearing a clicking sound coming from downstairs, like someone is turning the light switches on and off. Each time we go to investigate it stops. My boyfriend has twice heard a strange sound that he can not describe and friends tell me they sometimes hear strange voices (other than my own) when they're talking to me on the phone and I'm alone.

I had an experience a few nights ago actually, I was sitting here in the computer room, now we have an airmatress here so whoever is using the lappy can sit comfortably while the other is on the PC, I saw a little grey spotted kitten walk over the mattress. We do have a cat, but she's completely black. Sunday morning our little ghost kitten came up and laid on my bed, our living cat was outside, and when I turned to look at the kitten she was gone. I named her Julia after that.

And last night we saw her again, walk from underneath the closet. There was also strange music coming from downstairs, that stopped as soon as my boyfriend went to check on it.

I work in the evenings in the Icelandic equivalent of UPS, I drive out packages and stuff like that, so I'm usually alone in the post-house at nights. There's a guy there that walks past the beeper that beeps when people are coming in.

My friend (Who is very sensitive to ghosts) was helping me work one night as soon as she went into the building she had this horrible feeling of dread and hate. She just wanted to lie down and die.

Another work related incident... I was going to someone's house with a package, when I saw a little boy standing behind me, I jumped and thought maybe he lived there. When I blinked he was gone.

I found it strange that within the last few months I've seem to been experiencing more than I do usually, I'm wondering whether this is a warning

But alas, I have written enough for one night, I'll keep you updated if you're interested.

- Patch

Just to add one thing; I saw fire in my window yesterday, I poured the nearest liquid over it, but there were no burn marks (Window is made out of wood) Could this be related?

Baby's First Ghost

My lifetime I've seen ghosts approximately 7 times. Of those times there only 2 experiences that I have doubts about, this is simply because I can't trust my own recollections.

I've heard many people speak of seeing ghosts when they were children. Of the many cases I hear of concerning this subject, some are surprisingly the same. This is my story.

It is strange to say that one of my first memories in life is that of seeing a ghost. Many would question how someone could remember something that occurred when you were 4 or 5. But I do, I remember relaying this story my entire life to my siblings and friends over the years. My sister remembers me telling her about when I was about 10. It's funny how I can remember the experience, yet not remember telling her about it then. Well, it engraved itself into my memory and I still see it as vividly today as if it had just happened.

I remember I was young so young that my mother was still carrying me around. For some reason my parents put me to bed in their room. I remember laying there in this huge bed with a blanket on me. As my mother left she turned off the main overhead light but turned on a lamp that sat on a dresser across the room so it was pretty well lit.

The walls I remember were that weird green color that was popular in the late fifties and early sixties, the curtains were long and a kind of beige color. I don't know what I was thinking but I believe I was happy just to be laying there and looking around.

I was looking at those beige curtains when they started to move as if the wind was hitting them from behind in the center. I remember those windows as being in three parts a large center section and two small side windows. Only the side windows opened the center did not. Well, anyway the curtains seemed to sway a little and the movement got my attention. I watched them for what seemed like a moment when all of a sudden it appeared.

It just seemed to suddenly fade into view not slowly like you see in old ghost movies but fairly quickly as if a spotlight had been turned on. It was a tall hooded figure that glowed a pale bluish green color. It didn't reflect any of the light in the room rather it seemed to cast it very softly. It was tall I believe, the top of its head for lack of a better word was even with the top of the curtain. Which in later years I figured was about 6'5".

I saw no flesh of any kind. It was a floating hood like the old Monk robes. It was a hood that flowed down to shoulders and a chest and then nothing! From the waist down their was nothing. No arms, legs or feet, just an upper torso that faded downward into a mist then nothing.

It stood there for a moment as if regarding the room, though there was no face it was looking at me. I could feel it watching me. I don't remember what I was thinking if anything at all but when it started moving toward me I started screaming in fear. It had made only a couple of steps (?) when the main overhead light came on and my mother ran through the door. I don't remember seeing it vanish because I was watching her. Thinking back I can't believe my mother didn't see it but I guess she didn't.

In my own way I vaguely remember telling her about the 'scary' man who came through the window. She told me I was dreaming (typical isn't it?) and put me back down to sleep after I settled down.

Some people tried to convince me that maybe it was a burglar or a dream but I know better, we lived in an apartment that was on the fourth floor of a building. There was no fire escape access to any window of the apartment. The building was made of bricks that went straight up with no fancy moldings or places to grasp to climb upward. There simply was no way to get into that room except straight through the door.

I can't say why but I know it wasn't a dream, the first dream I remember happened years later. The things I do remember were things that were fairly traumatic. I was badly burned by a large pot of very hot coffee around that same time. I remember the accident and the trip to the hospital. I remember being operated on for skin grafts. I remember seeing Santa Clause for the first time (I cried, he was scary). That incident, in my mind has always been in those categories of things that were traumatic enough to be remembered.

So I'll never be convinced it didn't happen and over the years I've come to learn of things that cements that truth in my mind. One of my sisters relayed to me that years later when she was a teenager she saw something very similar watching her in another house we lived in. It is something she doesn't like talking about. We both agree that while we both were frightened by the thing. We didn't feel it was a threat. It just seemed to be there to watch us.

Finally, before I left for to join the Air Force, I was in the Den of our home playing with a new Polaroid Camera that we had just gotten. I was putting it on to a shelf but it slipped from my fingers I managed to catch it but in doing so it fired off a picture. I set the picture down and replaced the camera on the shelf.

As I was leaving the room I picked up the picture to look at it before I threw it away. In the photo standing before a desk that was in the room stood a tall hooded figure that was pale greenish blue. It was solid at the top of its hood and trailed off into nothing. Beside it stood a woman with long hair she too was visible only from the waist up.

I left the room in a hurry.

We kept the photo for a long time until my mother died. When she did the photo disappeared as her things were gathered and either sold or packed away. It seems that is the way with spirits, just when you think you have absolute proof of an event something mysterious happens and you're left with as big a mystery then before.

Who are these spirits? Are they ghosts or some form of angel sent over to watch us? I have no answers as of yet.

A Pushing, Stealing, Cutting Ghost?

I don't know if this is necessary, but if this information is needed, I am a female seventeen year-old. Next year is my last year of high school. Well, first of all, I've always hated ghosts. I don't care whether they are the "good" kind or the "bad" kind. I have never wanted to see one let alone confront one. Unfortunately, my hate for them only comes from the fact that I fear them so much. I don't know much about ghosts or spirits, heck, I can't tell the difference between the terms, because the more I learn about them or watch them on YouTube, the scarier and more real they seem. (However, my friends seem to get real kicks out of seeing me nearly shiat my pants, hence the reasons why I have watched ghost videos on YouTube.)

Anyway, as much as I'd like to deny it, I think I really have had some ghostly experiences. It started when my family had purchased this old house, it was our first house that we've ever lived in since we've been so used to living in a townhouse. I think it was about 2007 of summer, because that was the year I was entering high school, and my family bought this house because of its location. This was in Alberta, Edmonton of Canada by the way.

After we have settled in about a couple months later, strange things begin to happen particularly around the second set of stairs that led to the family den. The family den has our computers and the TV, so my family went down there a lot. My sister fell down those stairs for the first time, and naturally we were all worried for her. However, when she got up she looked perfectly fine. While my mom gave a mini lecture about being more careful, my sister just went along to play.

I remember counting those steps after falling down those stairs became something like a routine. I'm not sure if that's quite the word for it. What I'm trying to say is that those stairs were frequently tripped upon. There were ten steps. The second time my sister fell down those stairs again something like a week later. However, each time she tripped down those stairs, she wouldn't get hurt.

My mother has fallen down those same stairs at least five times. For me, it must've been well over ten. However, we were never seriously hurt, which made me feel a little uneasy. I don't even get a bruise. My brother and father never fell on those stairs though. I had brief thoughts that it may have been a ghost, but dismissed the idea because the thought of my brand new house being haunted scared me so much.

My family figured it was the carpeting which made the staircase leading to the family den such a nuisance. So after having our share of falling down the steps, we eventually became very cautious when going downstairs to watch some TV or use the computer. Even so, we continued to trip.

That's not all either. I'm a bit of a pack rat, so I still have all the stuffed animals my friends had given me when I was a kid. (I still like stuffed animals.) However, when I saw one of my favorite stuffed dolls go missing, I began to panic. I hate losing anything I own, and I usually place my things somewhere specific so I knew exactly where they were. On top of that, this doll was given from a precious friend of mine, and it was extremely beautiful; one of my prized dolls. Though my siblings knew better than to touch my collection, I harassed my brother and sister to tell me where my doll was, but they swore they didn't touch it. I even asked my parents and they said they hadn't touched my room. After searching the house for a few weeks, I eventually gave up.

Some months later, I found my doll on the floor in plain sight, placed near my wardrobe. Now, I place my stuffed dolls at the top of that wardrobe, so yes, I had checked that area many many times, but it was never there until that day. This REALLY had me freaked out. And that's when I started to think that something from another world was screwing with me. I had to sleep with the covers over my head that night.

After about a year and a half of living in that house, my parents decided to split. My dad stayed at the house, while the rest of us moved to Toronto, Ontario, living in a condo. It's not that sad for me, I saw it coming a long time ago, and it happened pretty naturally. Moving out of the house was also a bit of a relief. But again, strange things started to happen after we settled in our new condo.

My mom recently purchased a very good quality potato peeler, and I know it's weird, but she must've really liked that thing. (It's that, or it was very expensive.) However, it went missing the next week. My mom is a neat person. What mom isn't? So yes, this was unusual. She began to harass me and my siblings where we had left the peeler, but since we're generally too lazy to peel carrots or potatoes for food, we told her we didn't touch it. I figured maybe moms have their moments when they lose something, so I didn't think much of it...

... Until my mom bought another peeler. When she couldn't figure where the potato peeler went, she went out to buy another of the exact same kind. But again, this peeler went missing. That peeler was huge with a nice handle and a shiny sharp blade for peeling, so I couldn't figure how something like that would've gone missing TWICE. My mom was extremely frustrated when this happened again. She searched everywhere, and could not find her peeler. She talked about how forty dollars went down the drain, and decided to purchase a cheap one. Strangely enough, this tiny cheap peeler stayed.

It's been a few months since we've moved into this house, and I'm finding small cuts on my hands in the most random places. They don't look like paper cuts though (I would know if it was a paper cut, since I draw a lot), and they don't hurt very much, but they are certainly annoying. I'm not sure, but these nicks look like they could have been made by fingernails or something. I mostly find them on the sides of my finger or the under-sides/belly of my fingers. The reason why I believe they look like fingernail scratches are because of how the skin sticking out is curved; like they had a really sharp nail, dug into my skin, and decide to peel it half-way. They've healed now, but I'm still getting strange cuts I've never noticed before.

Also, I don't know if this would be of any relevance, but I find myself waking up around 3 AM all the time. (Sometimes a minute or two earlier) I asked my friends about it and they told me it was jet leg from changing time zones, but its April now, I've moved to my condo in December. Because of this, I'm extremely drowsy at school and can hardly stay awake.

So why am I posting this? I came across this website by chance, and oh lordy, am I going to have nightmares for weeks on end. Though, your experiences are strangely addicting to read, and it seems there is helpful feedback as well. Since you guys seem to be experts in this field, I want this to be confirmed:

Is my family being haunted by a ghost?

And if so, can I get rid of it? I get deathly afraid of being around one... I know it's not causing any real harm, for now at least, so at the moment I feel safe. However, my family and I really don't need any more of this. There's already so much frantic commotion with my mom going to university and me trying to make up for the term I have missed, so we really don't want to lose any more of our things or get cuts that will bother us when writing an exam. I'd like ANY weight off our shoulders right now.

One more thing (if needed): my mom meditates, so she is a very spiritual person, though she doesn't believe in ghosts. Me and my sister are just afraid of paranormal things, but we don't meditate or anything like that.
